Lisa Y. Méndez is a photographer and mixed-media artist who currently resides in San Diego, CA.

She is the founder of “From Hell To Highwater”, a zine whose goal is to publish work by artists of all skill levels and mediums.

Lisa’s primary interest is in lo-fi analogue photography and utilizing it to document events occurring in her day-to-day life, ranging from seemingly banal objects to the most private and intimate moments one can experience.

When she is not taking photos, Lisa spends her time watching 80’s slasher flicks, indulging her sweet tooth and scavenging thrift stores.
